I was surrounded by oriental music growing up and named after a famous Arabic song by the Lebanese classical singer Fairuz. 

​In the summer of 2019 I received my Postgraduate Diploma in Voice & Opera from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, which was kindly supported by the Waverley Fund. 

At RNCM, I performed the role of Nella (Gianni Schicchi, Puccini) in December 2018 with the conductor Martin André and director Robert Chevara.

In 2019 I was a Young Artist at the Buxton International Festival, where I was part of the chorus for Eugene Onegin conducted by Adrian Kelly, participated in concerts, and covered the title role of Georgiana at the world premier. I was a participant of the 15th Seoul International Music Competition. I was chosen to be part of a British Youth Opera week long workshop in July 2019.

I performed at Kensington Palace Gardens with the Peace & Prosperity Trust. In the summer of 2018, I was accepted into the prestigious IVAI/CVAI programme in Montréal under Metropolitan Opera Coach Joan Dornemann and was selected to sing in four concerts including the Gala concert at the Salle de Claude-Champagne, UdM.

I have performed the role of Giulia (La Scala di Seta, Rossini) with Raucous Rossini, performing at the Merchant’s House, Rosslyn Chapel (Scotland), Berkshire (England), Montone, and Teatro Signorelli, Cortona (Italy). Other performances in 2018 include concerts at the Leighton House Museum, Fauré’s Requiem and Gounoud’s St Cecile Mass with the United Strings of Europe, and a performance at the Lebanese Embassy in London, UK.

​In 2017 I was part of the ensemble for critically acclaimed modern opera Mad King Suibhne by Noah Mosley at Lilian Baylis House as part of Helios Collective's Formations supported by the ENO, and also in December at Messum’s Gallery, Wiltshire (Bury Court Production). I also was a young artist with Bury Court Opera in March 2017 for the  premier of Mad KIng Suibhne.

 In the summer of 2017 I performed the roles of Despina, (Cosi Fan Tutte, Mozart) with Greg Buchalter and Musetta (La Boheme, Puccini) with Kamal Khan in Italy with the Mediterranean Opera Festival. I have also performed the role of Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi, Puccini) in 2016 at the Greco Teatro, Palazzolo, in Sicily. 

​I have worked with renowned conductors and coaches including Joan Dornemann (the Met), Robert Ainsley (Washington National Opera), Kamal Khan (the Met), David Gowland (ROH), Jonathan Santagada (ROH), Felice Venanzoni (Oper Frankfurt) and other great coaches. I was chosen to take part in masterclasses with Sir John Tomlinson, Nora Amsellem, Jennifer Larmore, Salvatore Fisichella, and other maestri.

I studied with mezzo-soprano Antonia Sotgiu at RNCM. Other teachers who have taught and inspired me on my journey include Ruth Falcon, Michael Harper,  Enas Massalha, Nelly Miricioiu, Carlos Conde, and Jack LiVigni.

Raised in a multilingual environment, I love exploring modern and obscure songs and creating translations in uncommon languages. I am proud to be a Young Artist with the Peace and Prosperity Trust, a foundation working to foster relations between the Middle East and West through music.
